Where We Stand

Christ is first and foremost in our lives, nothing is placed above Him.  We realize the value of a relationship with Him and the joy that a Christ-like life provides.  We find His story and rest of Scripture to be inerrant and purposefully written by God.

When asked, “What is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

From this we developed our second and third pillars: Compassion and Community.  It’s pretty straight forward.  If we continue learning to love as Christ loved, the rest of this life will make a lot more sense!

We also echo what Hillcrest Baptist Church stands for, desiring to Connect with God and others, Grow in faith and knowledge of Christ, Serve in our community and beyond, and Share our faith experience and joy with all those we encounter!
